Tria Beauty Names New Chief Operations Officer

The company welcomes Michael R. Lopez as Chief Operations Officer

DUBLIN, Calif., June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Tria Beauty, Inc., the world leader in at-home laser and light-based skincare treatments, today announced Michael R. Lopez as Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Lopez assumes leadership of the company’s global technology and operations functions.

Mr. Lopez joins Tria Beauty, Inc. after holding C-level operations management positions in both global and start-up organizations, including PneumRx Inc., (acquired by BTG) and Oraya Therapeutics. His other recent experiences include Vice President of Operations at Ventus Medical and Vice President of Manufacturing for InSound Medical, (acquired by Sonova). Mr. Lopez received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from the University of Rhode Island, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, and a Doctorate of Management from Case Western Reserve University.
